Why I Don't Reply to Every Enquiry

One of the questions I'm occasionally asked is why I don't respond to every message that lands in my inbox.

The honest answer is simple.

I was never trying to be the companion for everyone.

As an independent companion, I have complete freedom over how I choose to run my business. Some companions enjoy meeting many different people each week and replying to every enquiry they receive. I genuinely admire that dedication, because I know how much time and emotional energy it requires.

I've realised that my path is simply different.

I'm naturally someone who values meaningful conversations over small talk, quality over quantity, and cherished connections over a busy calendar.

I am, at heart, someone who values depth over breadth.

The months I remember most are rarely the busiest months. They're the ones where I unexpectedly meet a kindred spirit in an unrushed booking, where thoughtful anticipation begins long before we meet, and where familiar faces return—not because they were seeking a service, but because they were looking forward to spending time together again.

Because of that, I protect my energy very carefully.

When someone reaches out with a thoughtful introduction, tells me a little about themselves, or shares why they feel we'd enjoy each other's company, it tells me something important before we've even met. It tells me they're willing to invest in the shared experience from the very beginning.

To me, our experience together doesn't start when we meet.

It begins with that very first message.

A thoughtful introduction tells me so much about the experience we're about to create together.

Perhaps that's why I don't respond to every enquiry. Not because I believe anyone is beneath my time, but because I know the kind of connection and experience I hope to create, and I want to preserve enough of myself to show up fully for the people I do meet.

In many ways, that's the greatest luxury of all—creating space to show up as the very best version of yourself.

I've realised that I don't need to be the right companion for everyone.

I don't aspire to be booked out all the time.

I don't wish to be everything to everyone.

Instead, I aspire to have pre-planned dates with special people in my calendar to look forward to, and downtime to rest and rejuvenate in between.

I simply hope to be exactly the right companion for those who truly resonate with me, my vibe and what I offer.

And if that sounds like you, I look forward to hearing from you.
